LEVY
I have formal stage and on-screen acting training, but began my work behind-the-camera by assisting producer Kayla Foster (Your Monster, The Deuce). I started my producing work with Toe Tag, a short directed by Jordon Bolden and executive produced by Michael Fisher. That same year, I produced and starred in Fin, opposite Jordon Bolden and Dree Hemingway and made my music video directing debut with Clancy’s A.G. vs. RiRi.
Since then I have produced and directed a number of short-form projects, including producing Alex Kokenis’ A Pickle and A Coke and Eleanor Greene’s new short, Sunflower Oil, shot in London. I am currently in post-production for a short I wrote, directed, co-produced and starred in, called Chill Girl.
This fall, I will be shooting the EPK and assisting director Nell Teare on two features: Go-Love-Go and The Road Goes on Forever, starring Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, 300) and Marc Menchaca (Ozark).
I am most attracted to stories that are highly stylistic and deeply personal. I am drawn to producing and directing stories with a female and/or young adult perspective. My personal projects are most reflective of my relationship to musical theater, attending an all-girls’ school, or involving the recovery community.
I was born in Tokyo, Japan, grew up in the UK and NYC and now live in Brooklyn. I graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and The Nightingale-Bamford School.
